Garagely is operated by Ekantix. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Garagely platform (the mobile app, the web application, and any related services), how we use it, and what choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

Account & Business Information

When you register and use Garagely, we collect:

  • Garage owner details — name, garage name, mobile number, email address, and business information you provide during sign-up and in your garage profile.
  • Staff details — names and mobile numbers of staff accounts created within your garage.
  • Customer details — names, mobile numbers, and any notes you record about your customers inside the platform.
  • Vehicle information— registration numbers, make, model, fuel type, mileage, and service history that you enter for your customers' vehicles.
  • Job cards — service tasks, technician assignments, job status, and notes you create during a vehicle visit.
  • Invoices — line items, amounts, tax details, payment status, and any reminders generated from invoices.
  • Service reminders — due dates and contact details used to send reminders to your customers.
  • Subscription information — your current plan, billing period, and subscription status.

Contact Information

We collect mobile numbers and email addresses for authentication, account communication, service reminders, and customer notifications.

Usage Information

We collect basic app usage information (such as features accessed and error logs) to improve the platform and diagnose issues.

2. How We Store Your Data

All data entered into Garagely is stored on servers managed by Ekantix. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS (TLS). We apply industry-standard security practices to protect data at rest and in transit.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide and improve the Garagely platform. Specifically:

  • To operate your garage account and deliver the features you use.
  • To send service reminders and notifications on your behalf to your customers.
  • To provide customer support.
  • To diagnose technical issues and improve the platform.

We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not share your business or customer data with third parties except where required by law or to operate essential infrastructure (e.g. email delivery providers used to send reminders).

4. Account Recovery (Forgot PIN)

When you use the "Forgot PIN" feature, Garagely sends a one-time password (OTP) to the email address linked to your account. This OTP is used solely to verify your identity before allowing you to set a new PIN. No SMS is sent and no third-party service receives your phone number for this purpose.

The Firebase SDK is present in the app for potential future features (such as push notifications), but it does not currently process any personal data.

5. Data Retention & Account Deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you wish to request deletion of your account and all associated data, please contact us at support@ekantix.com. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Garagely after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
