Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Garagely. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Garagely.

1. About Garagely

Garagely is a business-to-business (B2B) garage management Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform operated by Ekantix. It is designed for independent garage owners, automotive workshops, and their authorised staff members. Garagely provides tools for managing job cards, invoices, customers, vehicles, vehicle photos, service reminders, payment reminders, and business reports.

In these Terms, the "platform" means all of the ways you can reach Garagely, which currently are:

Garagely is available to garages internationally. Some features are country-specific — for example, the structured UAE number plate, Mulkiya and insurance policy fields appear only for garages set to the United Arab Emirates. Currency, tax labels, and messaging availability also vary by country.

2. Eligibility & Intended Use

Garagely is intended for use by garage owners and their staff. By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, are able to enter into a binding contract, and are operating or working for a legitimate automotive service business. The platform is not intended for end consumers or personal use.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Garagely — and in particular the invoices you issue and the messages you send to your customers — complies with the laws of the country you operate in, including tax, invoicing, data protection, and electronic marketing rules.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials (mobile number and PIN). You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account, including activity by any staff accounts you create. Notify us immediately at ekantix@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

When you sign up, we verify both the mobile number and the email address you provide by sending a one-time code (by WhatsApp and by email). You confirm that the number and email address belong to you or to your business, and that you are entitled to receive messages at them.

4. Data Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of all data you enter into the Garagely platform. This includes customer information, vehicle records (including registration, Mulkiya, chassis, and insurance policy details where applicable), job card details, photos you upload, and invoice content. Ekantix is not responsible for errors, omissions, or any consequences arising from data you input.

You must have the necessary rights and consents to enter any personal data about third parties (such as your customers) into the platform. In data-protection terms, you are the controller of your customers' data and Ekantix processes it on your behalf and on your instructions.

5. Messaging Your Customers

Garagely can send messages to your customers on your behalf — most importantly WhatsApp service reminders and WhatsApp payment reminders. These messages are sent by you, through Garagely; your garage name appears in them and your customers will understand them as coming from your business.

How the controls work:

  • Automatic service reminders are off by default. They are sent only after you switch them on for your garage, and you can switch them off again at any time, or disable them for an individual vehicle.
  • Payment reminders are never automatic. They are sent only when you choose to send one from an invoice.

By using these features you confirm that:

  • you collected your customers' contact details lawfully and have a lawful basis (including consent where your local law requires it) to message them about their vehicle and their invoices;
  • you will honour any request from a customer to stop receiving messages, by removing them or turning reminders off for their vehicle; and
  • you will not use Garagely messaging for unsolicited marketing, bulk promotional messaging, or any unlawful, misleading, or abusive content.

WhatsApp messages are delivered through the Meta WhatsApp Business Cloud API and are subject to WhatsApp's own Business Messaging Policy and Commerce Policy. Delivery is not guaranteed: a message may be delayed or fail because of the customer's device, number, privacy settings, or a block, or because of an outage at WhatsApp. Ekantix is not liable for messages that are not delivered, are delivered late, or are inaccurate because of data you entered.

We may suspend messaging — for your garage or across the platform — without notice where we need to protect the platform, respond to abuse, or comply with WhatsApp's policies or applicable law.

6. Subscriptions & Billing

Garagely is a business software service (SaaS) sold as a subscription to your garage. A subscription covers access to the Garagely platform as a whole — the web application and the mobile applications alike — and is not a purchase of any individual app. Subscription pricing, plan features, and billing terms are as described on our pricing page and communicated to you at the time of purchase or plan selection.

Subscription payments and billing are managed outside the mobile applications, on this website. In-app purchases through the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store are not used for Garagely subscription management. The mobile apps are free to download and are used to sign in to a garage account created and paid for on this website. Plan upgrades, renewals, and any billing enquiries should be directed to us at ekantix@gmail.com.

Where a free trial is offered, it gives you access to the platform for a limited period. We may change the length or contents of a trial, and a trial does not create any obligation on us to continue providing the service once it ends.

Garagely Points

Garagely Points are a loyalty balance your garage may earn through activity on the platform. Points can be redeemed only against a Garagely subscription activation or renewal, at our discretion. Points:

  • have no cash value, and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for money;
  • are reversed when the activity that earned them is cancelled (for example, cancelling a job card removes the points it earned); and
  • may be capped, adjusted, expired, or discontinued by us, with reasonable notice where practical.

7. Vehicle Photos

On plans that include it, you can attach photos to a job card. Photos are compressed and watermarked when they are uploaded; the original file is not kept. There is a limit on the number of photos per job card, shown in the app.

Photos are automatically deleted six months after upload. They are a working record of a job, not long-term storage — download anything you need to keep before then. You must not upload photos that are unlawful, that show people who have not agreed to be photographed, or that are unrelated to the job.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Garagely to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Enter false, fraudulent, or misleading information about customers, vehicles, or services.
  • Send unsolicited marketing, spam, or abusive messages to any person.
  • Upload malicious code, or any content you do not have the right to upload.
  • Interfere with or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform, its servers, or any connected systems.
  • Scrape, copy, resell, or make the platform available to anyone outside your garage.
  • Use the platform for any purpose other than legitimate garage management operations.

9. Account Suspension & Termination

Ekantix reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we determine that you have:

  • Violated these Terms or any applicable law.
  • Engaged in misuse, abuse, or fraudulent activity on the platform.
  • Engaged in any activity that is illegal or harmful to Ekantix, other users, or third parties.

In the event of a suspension or termination, Ekantix will make reasonable efforts to notify you unless doing so would be unlawful or harmful.

You may stop using Garagely and request deletion of your account at any time — see Delete your account. After an account ends, your data may be deleted, so export or download anything you need to keep first. We are not obliged to retain your data after termination.

10. Service Availability

Ekantix will make reasonable efforts to maintain the availability of Garagely. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. The platform may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or aspect of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where practical.

11. Third-Party Services

Garagely relies on third-party providers to work — for example WhatsApp for messaging, an email delivery provider, and cloud hosting and storage providers. These providers are listed in our Privacy Policy. Their availability, terms, and policies are outside our control, and we are not responsible for their outages, changes, or decisions (including a decision by WhatsApp to restrict or block messaging).

12. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Garagely is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Garagely is a record-keeping and workflow tool: it does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or technical automotive advice, and you remain responsible for the correctness of your invoices, tax treatment, and service decisions.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Ekantix and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Garagely.
  • Any loss of data, revenue, profits, or business opportunities.
  • Errors or inaccuracies in data you have entered into the platform.
  • Messages to your customers that are not delivered, are delayed, or are sent in error.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Garagely shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Ekantix harmless from any claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from the data you enter into the platform, the messages you send to your customers through it, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or of the rights of any third party.

14. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding within Garagely (outside of your own business data) is the property of Ekantix and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without prior written permission.

Your business data remains yours. You grant us only the permission we need to host, process, back up, and transmit it in order to operate the platform for you.

15. Partner Enquiries

Submitting the form on our Regional Partner page is an expression of interest only. It does not create a partnership, reseller appointment, agency, or any exclusivity or territory rights. Any such arrangement requires a separate written agreement signed by Ekantix.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of Garagely. Garagely is offered to garages internationally; where the mandatory law of your own country gives you rights that cannot be waived by contract, those rights are not affected by this section.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of Garagely after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
